Players can build robots out of fridges, chainsaws, super glue guns and other parts.
Cluj-Napoca, Romania — March 1, 2019: Romanian indie studio Rikodu from Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania announces that the closed beta of their upcoming co-op game “Second Hand: Frankie’s Revenge” starts on March 8th.
Frankie’s Revenge is a twin-stick 1-4 player co-op game set in a world of machines. Players build bots out of household appliances like fridges, chainsaws, disco balls, tennis ball launchers, and even a time-bending clock. Playing solo or in a team, they slash and chop their way through hundreds of alien-infested robots using unique skills and abilities.
“Our goal with Frankie’s Revenge was to create a twin-stick combat game with all the hallmarks of challenge, satisfying combat and feedback, but in a more accessible, fun and quirky package.” said Alexandru Palade of Rikodu. “We put more emphasis on melee combat which gives it a different feel than typical twin-stick shooters and allows us to show the characters from up close”.
Frankie’s Revenge will be released on Steam this summer and later in the year on consoles. (Steam Page)
Gamers who want to check out the game before the official release can sign-up now for the closed PC Beta. It will run on Steam starting March 8th and will give players the opportunity to kit out their fridge, don their Plungerbuss and SuperGlueGun and team up in local or online co-op to kick alien robot ass.
